Are you too emotional? Find out what Human Design says about emotional authority.

Are you too emotional?

You’re too emotional“!

How often do you hear this from your partner, supervisor, or family member?

What’s your reaction?

Are you wondering if there is really something “wrong” with you?

I know this very well 😉

50% of the population has the so-called emotional authority recognized by the Human Design system.

It means, that for 50% of the population, the truth is in emotions.

If you belong to this group, emotions are the best source of information for you.

Awareness and acceptance of emotions are essential to everyone.

However, if you are among the 50% who have an emotional authority:

  • awareness and acceptance of your feelings is KEY for your satisfaction, fulfillment, and making the right decisions;

  • it is crucial that you allow yourself to be exposed to your emotional waves; they do have meaning!

  • wait to make any decision; euphory is not a good advisor, and neither are the emotional lows;

  • wait until you have clarity and emotional stability to make a decision; sleep on it. Don’t rush with answering a difficult e-mail, a decision on the next steps on the project, or a reaction to the proposal made to you.

I have to admit that this last bit was the hardest for me.

The nature of a transactional attorney’s work involves frequent immediate decision making. What was expected of me at work, I transferred to my private life.

Also, I often made decisions about new courses, workshops, and buying self-development books when I was in my emotional lows. I thought that these were my lifelines at that time. However, it often turned out that these lifelines did not help.

Now, I try to wait until the wave passes (it always does ) and calmly check within before  I proceed.

Clarity comes and is the best guide.

It will also come to you!
